Frontierswomen Life, migration, hopes
On the 14th of July (from 6.00 p.m.), the Hotel Saturnia & International will host ‘Border Women’, a project concerning the story of one year experience lived by a volunteer in the Amazonian province of Sucumbios, in Ecuador. The meeting will give attention to the description of Sucumbios’ social and environmental situation. Women’s troubles and hopes will be described through the use of images, video, music and narratives of life. The main character will be embodied by women of different social, ethnic origins and age which live in the north-east border of Ecuador, close to Colombia (the land of drug trafficking, oil exploitation and environmental degradation).
The project has been carried out by the Osmos Collective in Venice.
Free entrance, reservation required (maximum 45 people)
