Venice Access Fee
The Venice Access Fee is a fee, set by the Municipality of Venice, that occasional tourists have to pay to enter the historic center on certain days that are considered to have high attendance.
Our guests do NOT have to pay the Venice Access Fee but must register on the online platform to get the exemption.
The Venice Access Fee: what it is
To moderate tourist flows on high-traffic dates, the Municipality of Venice has set the Venice access fee: a fee that must be paid by casual tourists to enter the historic centre.
The dates when the access fee is required in 2024, are the following:
April 2024: 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30
May 2024: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26
June 2024: 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30
July 2024: 6, 7, 13 e 14
The Venice Access Fee is not required by our guests, as they already pay the tourist tax, but they still need to register online to get the exemption.

If you stay at our hotel on a day when the Venice Access Fee is required, you do not have to pay but you must register online to get the exemption. https://cda.comune.venezia.it/en/richiestaEsenzione
After completing the procedure, you will get a voucher with a QR code on it. You must always take it with you and show it in case you are asked by the authorized staff.
Below are the main steps for registering for the portal http://cda.ve.it
choose “Request Exemption”
select “I am a guest in an accommodation in Venice”
click “Request Exemption”
enter your arrival and departure dates
In the data entry screen:
use accommodation number 1443
select option HOTEL SATURNIA & INTERNATIONAL as a guest of this facility
add names of the other guests under “Add holder”
